Resident Leadership Team (RLT)Update:
Below is an update of what the RLT has been working in September and October 2008:
• Members from the RLT planned and organized a Resident Resource Fair that took place on September 13th at the Egleston YMCA. Residents, organizations, and businesses from the community participated in this event.
• Members have organized committees that will work towards several key issues that residents face within the community. The committees include:
- the training committee,
- seniors committee,
- events/communications committee, and
- conflict resolution committee.
• Members continue to participate in monthly meetings to discuss resident issues, concerns, and community awareness. Next meeting will be on December 10th.
