Nothing quite beats a tasty, high-quality burger and shake. Well, except when that burger is directly giving back to your community, not just your stomach.
This weekend, MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes and Urban Edge are providing that unique combination in Jamaica Plain and Roxbury. The new burger shack, located next to the Jackson Square T stop, is holding a special three-day grand opening event in which ten percent of all sales will be donated to the Jackson Square Recreation Center.
Having been open for three months, MOOYAH is eager to work with the Jackson Square community. “[Urban Edge] is right around the corner from us,” said Pat Patel, owner of the new JP location. “We wanted to let them know that we’re community-based and we want to be involved. What better way than to try to donate a little money to something this neighborhood has been working on for quite a few years now?”
In addition to donating ten percent of the weekend sales to Urban Edge, MOOYAH will also have the following grand opening special deals over the next three days.
